02Flip on the control surface
In NeoMotion: Settings → Local agent server. Toggle it on and copy the session token. It binds to 127.0.0.1 and nothing else.
03Register it with Codex
Add to ~/.codex/config.toml[mcp_servers.neomotion] command = "node" args = ["<shim path — copy it from NeoMotion Settings>"]The shim path is shown in NeoMotion → Settings → Local agent server. It reads the live port and token itself, so this config never goes stale.
04Brief it like a crew
Your first brief — paste it into the chatConnect to NeoMotion and import ~/Videos/my-talk.mp4. Build the full edit: word-anchored captions, charts from the numbers I say, b-roll cutouts.
